Spooky Old Tree by Stan & Jan Berenstain
Three brave little bears explore the inside of a mysterious old tree. Their only protection is a light, a stick, and a rope. Come along with those bears and find out “if they DARE” go into, up, through, over, down, out and around the twisty old forest. After listening to the story, the children made a Spooky Old Ghost to take home for Halloween. You can learn more about the Berenstain Bear Family and play some interactive computer games here.
Make more ghosts to hang in your Spooky Old Tree – crumble up ½ sheet of newspaper to make a head. Cover it with a plain white paper towel and tie a string just under the newspaper. Use a magic marker or crayon to color a scary face.
