Children’s Book Festival
We were happy to host our 1st Annual Children’s Book Festival on September 19th. It provided a fun, rewarding, and entertaining experience for the whole family to help promote literacy in Tooele County. We are very grateful for all those who contributed to the success of this festival, including the authors, the Book Festival Committee, the numerous volunteers, and Aioli’s Fine Catering.

In between author presentations, we had storytellers and dance productions. Here’s Shawn Oviatt reading pirate stories to a group of children.
Brandon Mull, author of the Fablehaven series, The Candy Shop War, and Pingo, spoke to a crowd of over 200 people.
We had a fantastic day!
