The 10th Story of Christmas
The 1963 Caldecott winner , The Snowy Day by Ezra Jack Keats was our 10th story as we continue our count down to Christmas.
What could be better then to wake up to a world that is covered with snow? Peter can’t wait to jump in his snowsuit and run out to explore. There are snowmen to build, snowballs to pack, and of course snow angels to make to name just a few of the many things that Peter does. This is such a delightful book to read and enjoy especially on those snowy days.
If it’s too cold outside why not have your very own snowball fight inside by crumbling up old pieces of paper. Once you have your pile ready let the snowball fight begin. One, two, three, throw!
You can always make your own Snow Playdough. You can find lots of recipes for playdough here.
