P.J. Funnybunny

What fun we had at our story time today! Ms. Julie read about P.J. Funnybunny from a bright and early beginning reader book titled, It’s Not Easy Being A Bunny by Marilyn Sadler. This is the story of P.J. who doesn’t like being a bunny because he has too many carrots to eat, too many brothers & sisters, and his ears are way too big! So he sets off on an adventure to find other forest animals he could be like.
In the end, he finds out he just wants to be himself.

We also played some fun hopping games with cotton balls and made our own funny bunny, too. You can make you a funny bunny – just print out this pattern, use a colored cotton ball for a funny bunny nose, draw on eyes, whiskers, and a mouth.
