This book looks inside the Septimus Heap stories at secrets, trivia, and little known facts about those Extraordinary Wizards who pop in and out of all four books. Each section adds tremendously to the overall depth of the world created by Angie Sage. Her trademark gentle humor is present throughout the book and the illustrations by Mark Zug are fabulous. A word of caution, however, this is NOT a stand-alone book. Appreciation of it requires that you have already read other books in the series.
