6th story is Christmas
We all have a favorite blanket or quilt that we love to curl up with as we snuggle and read our favorite books. The Christmas Memory Quilt by Kimberly Webb and illustrated by Jennifer Gaskin is our 7th Story of Christmas.
Brynne’s birthday is in June and she gets a nicely wrapped present from her Grandma. She is confused when her Grandma hands her a package wrapped in Christmas paper and bows. She is even more confused when she opens and finds fabric in colors of green and red. The fabric is to make two quilts. One for Brynne and one to give a way to a baby faraway. As Brynne learns to sew Grandma shares some of her memories with her. There is a pleasant surprise that awaits at the end of the book.
This is a great book for any Grandmother to read with her grandchildren.
