Kids Love Authors Day

What started as a tweet on twitter with author, Mitali Perkins, became an event with independent bookstores nationwide celebrating Kids Heart Authors Day or as we called it here at The Purple Cow Bookstore, Kids Love Authors Day. We had Jessica Day George, Sara Zarr, Kristen Landon, Wendy Toliver (even though she had lost her voice), Randall Wright, Emily Wing Smith, Anne Bowen and Mike Knudsen. The snowstorm did not keep them from taking the drive to Tooele. We all had an enjoyable time and learned so much from each of them. Check out Sara Zarr’s blog.
