The 4th Story of Christmas

Today, Ms. Julie read Jingle Bells by Diane Muldrow and Joe Ewers. In this story a grumpy bear is awakened by the sound of jingly, jangly sleigh bells. He wakes up to find a group of happy animal friends tucked into a one horse open sleigh. They are going on a long ride singing merry songs and drinking cups of hot cocoa. The bear joins them and the hot cocoa warms his tummy and his heart begins to melt as he makes new friends on his lovely winter day adventure. After the story, the kids sang Jingle Bells and danced to some classic Christmas songs. They also made a bird feeder to hang outside for the winter birds to feed from.
