A Little Bit O’ Green
Enjoying a holiday gives us a reason to have some fun at The Purple Cow Bookstore. We have put together a collection of ‘green books’ for you to see. A few of the titles are, The Road To Oz by L. Frank Baum, Extraordinary by Nancy Werlin, Fablehaven 1 by Brandon Mull, The Giving Tree by Shel Silverstein, The Earth Book by Todd Parr, and Grandma’s Garden by Mercer Mayer. Hope you will stop in this week and pick your favorite book of green.

Some other fun ideas for celebrating the day are to serve all green foods for dinner, make green slush or milkshakes, use finger jello cut in shamrock shapes, or try to think of all the synonyms used to name the color green.
