History

     The Purple Cow Bookstore has promoted children’s literacy in Tooele County since 2008. We have reached out to thousands of children through book fairs, author signings, and book clubs. The bookstore has hosted bestselling authors such as Brandon Mull, Shannon Hale, Lisa Mangum, Ally Condie, and many others. We promote a broad selection of book choices that include board books, picture books, early and junior readers, up through young adult titles.

     While we are primarily a children’s bookstore, we can special order in many other mainstream genres. Along with our complimentary gift-wrapping, The Purple Cow Bookstore is an excellent source of gifts for birthdays, holidays, or other special occasions.
